A conversational surface for questions about the system — how the governed catalog works, how a trace reads, what the audit trail records. It is not the governed path.
Nothing here is a governed answer. Replies are model-generated — no SQL, no audit entry. For a real figure, ask on the Home screen.
Replies carry no SQL, no citation, no lineage and no audit entry, and they are not written to the audit log. The assistant has no access to bank data and will not state operational figures. On the Home screen a question is instead routed to a governed metric, computed by the engine from SQL that is shown to you, and recorded in the audit trail.
This surface calls an external model over the public internet. PRD-2 §8 permits that only under a pre-approved BoM InfoSec/DPO egress gate for phases E0–E2; the air-gapped local model is phase E3. It is not deployable inside the perimeter as it stands.
